Bri and Daniel formally met on New Year’s Eve 2013 at a Menendez family party. During their conversation, Daniel mentioned he was planning to move back to the Los Angeles area, and Bri happened to be looking for housemates for her new condo in Santa Fe Springs. By September 2014, Daniel had moved in, and through the rhythm of daily life, the two became close friends.
Their early days together were filled with long walks in the park, where Bri would sometimes read aloud from books or share poems while they sat on blankets under the trees. They’d return home to watch indie films, slowly building a connection that felt easy, sincere, and deeply rooted in friendship.
By late December 2014, that bond had quietly grown into something more. They made the decision to start a relationship — one built on trust, shared values, and a deep appreciation for each other’s presence.
As time passed, their connection continued to grow — quietly and steadily.
The idea of marriage began to take shape in 2020, during the early days of the pandemic, when working from home allowed them to spend more time together. In 2021, Daniel asked Bri’s mother for her blessing, and on December 5th of that year, he proposed in a setting that echoed their beginnings: a quiet park, beneath the shade of an old tree, near a white archway and the soft sound of a nearby fountain.
They’re now excited to celebrate their wedding on
Friday, December 12th, 2025 — the close of their eleventh year since meeting, and the beginning of their next chapter.
